This '40 Ford Pickup has a pro-street chassis and vintage 471 Cragar blower.
It has a newly rebuilt forged piston 400 engine in it with new Edelbrock heads, 471 Cragar blower and a pro-built street strip turbo 350 transmission with an A1 4,000 stall converter and a Hurst pro-stick shifter.
It has a new 4:11 posi center section, 4-wheel disc brake system and 4-wheel coil-over suspension. Look closely at the tailgate. My buddy Clark at Performance One in Lead, SD did it.
Truck has been to Douglas track a couple times. Last time out, it ran an 11.59 through the mufflers and you can only run 11.50 before you have to have a roll cage. So I guess I don't need to make this one go much faster.
